Hello, my name is Anita and I am a woodcarver. I specialize in carving animals of all kinds, although
my favorites are horses, and dogs. Woodcarving is so much more
satisfying, for me, than sketching or painting. It's something special
to hold a blank in your hands, and carefully cut and shape it into a
realistic miniature of a living breathing creature. The figure compliments
the wood, showing off it's wonderful grain and color.
